Would You Rather Beauty Tag!

hello lovelys!

you will never guess what i have for you today! THAT’S RIGHT ANOTHER TAG!  i just love a tag, don’t you just love a tag!

anyway, im going to write this blog post while watching Splash! ( i know what your thinking its a Wednesday? Splash is on on a Saturday? arh! well that is where you are wrong my friend you see i have this on a schedule so it will go up on Wednesday instead. how cool is that. genius over here thank you very much!

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadow?

oh, well i was not expecting this. erm i guess i would have to lose my palettes and eye shadows because i can work better with eyeliners and lipsticks than i can with palettes!  

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

right, never be able to cut it again because i then wouldn’t use heat on my hair so that i wouldn’t get any damage some them and then i can use my rapunzel hair and plait it while singing along to Tangled (oh yes, shoutout to Disney)
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

CORAL ALL THE WAY BABY. coral is just a prettier shade to be honest!
4.) If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

can i choose both please? no? ok well then maybe clothes because then i wouldn’t have to walk around being naked with some make up on. OR MAYBE I COULD DRAW ON MY CLOTHES WITH THE MAKE UP? im full of fabulous ideas aren’t i?
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

eye-liner as lipstick because then i could find a glittery eye-liner and have glittery lips! (one day i will try this)
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

MAC because ive seen there products and reviews before and they sound fabulous and i don’t really know much about Sephora. i should try some of their products. 😦
7.) Would you rather only use one eye-shadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

one lip colour because then i could choose a colour that was great all year round and i would be all fine! *don’t worry about a ting* if you sung Bob Marley you have passed that test.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

oh i don’t know. summer clothes in winter because i could just put more summer clothes on over the top to keep warm but i don’t know what type of questions are these. 
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

bright, i just love bright nails. i don’t know what else to write about it they are just fabulous.

10.) Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favorite eye product?

LIP PRODUCT BECAUSE I LOOK HORRIBLE WITHOUT SOME KIND OF EYE MAKE UP 🙂
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

in a ponytail because as much as much as i love a messy bun it never goes right when i try to make one myself.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

never use lip gloss because i don’t normally wear lip gloss often so yea.
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

 i think i died laughing, shave my eyebrows of or sharpie them everyday, you can’t make this stuff up. erm well i guess shave my eyebrows off and become matt smith

im joking i love Matt and he does have eyebrows (sorry matt baby x)
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

live without nail polish, without a doubt because make up is beautiful 🙂

Mini Haul

hello lovelys!

so today i have been shopping and i got a few things that i thought i would show you! i didn’t buy a lot explaining the ‘mini haul’ but i thought it would be nice to do a little show and tell on them! so what are we waiting for? lets begin!

the first thing that i brought was some school shoes (very interesting i know) i needed some school shoes because my other shoes are dolly shoes and re not good for winter (they also had big holes in them but we wont tell people that)

i think these shoes are absolutely gorgeous and i never really say that about school shoes. i like these shoes because they have a bit of a heel but not by much (i don’t like heeled school shoes) they also have a every soft material running around the shoe which i love because then it’s not all one plain material and it spices it up a little! these were £26 from Brantanos.

the next thing i brought was some shampoo. i always feel like i post so much about shampoo but this time you will be pleased to know that this one doesn’t smell like honey! i brought the head and shoulders 2 in 1 shampoo for itchy scalps. lately my scalp has been really bad and today i finally thought that i would go to boots and pick some of this up! this smells so good and  the scent stays in your head for a long time. this was around £3 from boots.

the next thing i got was the Nivea In Shower Body moisturiser. i have heard some good reviews about this again thought that i would try it out myself to see what i thought about it. i like the concept over this product in that you can use it in the shower to save time and you don’t need to put any more on after which i think is fabulous! this was around £2.50 from Boots.

i also got some face scrub. my skin is so annoying and difficult and so i thought i would try this Ultra Rapid Relive scrub that quickly reduces spots! what more could you want! this was around £2.50 from Boots.

the last thing i got from Boots is the Lash Millionaire mascara from Miss Sporty and i needed a new mascara as my other one had run out so i thought i would try a new mascara rather than use the same one. this one looked very appealing because of its brush shape because it had a dip in the center of it. anyway i thought i would try it and this was about £3.

the last thing in this mini haul i didn’t get today, i got it yesterday through the post and it is a book by Jojo Moyes called Me Before You. This book is fabulous i got it yesterday and im already into chapter 3.  This girl called Lousia Clark loses her job in a cafe and gets a job caring for Will Traynor who was involved in a motorbike accident 2 years previously and now is quadriplegic.

this book this one of my favourites already and i would love to read her other stories

Favourites

hello lovelys!

last month (or last year whatever you like really, still weird to think were in a new year) i got a lot of make up and girly things for Christmas and i wanted to show you some of my favourites at the moment! i think most of these were brought from Boots or some other type of drug-store but to be honest im not sure because i got them for Christmas so if you would like to purchase any of them you will have to do a little search around on the interweb (or my family, they might remember)

i love favourite blogs because you can see if there is anything new out there or just something that you haven’t tried yet that you think could work or be interesting.

anyway on with the favouritism!

 i have been loving the herbal essences Bee Strong shampoo as it protects my hair against combing damage and leaves my hair smelling beautiful and like honey. if you haven’t guessed from my ‘How I Do My Hair’ blog i love shampoos that smell like honey. I wash my hair with this twice and I come out looking like a queen bee. (see what i did there, Bee Strong, queen bee? Hehe)

my next favourite is also a shower product and it is the Impulse Hot Pink Shower Gel. i absolutely love this gel because it is so citrus-y  and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. it also came with the Very Pink Impulse spray and together they work a treat and i smell so lovely. it’s also a very pretty colour and makes the bathroom smell beautiful as well. i would recommend it so any girl out there (not boys unless you want to smell citrusy)

my next one is a lip product. this is the Seventeen Lip Crayon. i love this because it just gives my lips a little shimmer and colour to them without going overboard. I like to wear this to school or somewhere that if i don’t need a lot of make up ill slip this on and Tada! beautiful lips. it looks great to carry round in your handbag or school bag for a quick top up!

my next product is Seventeen eye palette. this palette has been my best friend for the past weeks and i wear them everywhere! i like this kit because it gives you two looks that you can create but you can also just use the colours on their own. my favourite look to make with this palette is the Natural Eye look because i can wear it anywhere and just gives my eyes a little bit of a shimmer.

as you can see it is a little bit dirty because i have used it so many times! sorry about that my lovelys!

my next favourite is this make up bag. this bag is so simple but beautiful. it has enough space to put all the make up i need for the mornings and it has a snazzy jagged zip to do it up with which i love! i also like this bag because it is small and can fit in a reasonably  sized bag.

my last favourite is this vanilla body spray by Natural Collection. i absolutely love these sprays! they smell so good and the smell lasts a long time. they are also handy to have in your handbag then you feel like you need a little freshening up! these sprays not only smell good but they also are very cheap normally Boots have them on 3 for 2. (which is a massive bonus if you are on a budget) I don’t think i have seen anyone around school that hasn’t had a cheeky spray of this! when i spray this on me before i leave the house, by the time i get to school and in my lessons people are commenting how nice i smell and what i have got on!

Weekly Post

today, or tonight i should say. i decided to do a weekly post about my day or week. i realise that none of you really know anything about me. so i thought once a week (or less it depends how is goes) i would tell you all the stuff that has happened to me although i lead a very boring life i must say and im not very interesting. i dont go jumping of aeroplanes or go diving into a volcano whenever i feel like it but you know, i guess i just want to share how im feeling or what i have been up to.

i realise this isnt very interesting because its just me explaining but when we move further into the year i hope to have alot more stories to tell.

tomorrow, i go back to school from the Christmas break and do you ever get to the point where you want to go back to school just to do something that doesn’t involve lying around watching Jeremy Kyle? because thats how i feel all the time on school breaks! and ive only been off for 2 weeks! you can imagine me in the summer hoildays when i have 6 weeks off! and this year ill be even worse because ill have study leave (which knowing me i will only spend on the sofa. (sorry school.) but manly i want to go back to see my friends because if i don’t ill end up having no friends because im so unsociable!

im hesitant to put this up and i don’t even know why.

just to point out. i dont have a prize sorry to get anyone’s hopes up. that’s to easy for a prize! its like competitions you get on day time tv! so easy that you want to send in the wrong answer just to spice the whole thing up a bit!

anyway, i will end it here as im so tried if i stand up ill just fall down on the floor and go into a coma! (so not being dramatic shh 😉 )

20 Things…

hello lovelys,

today, i thought i would do a things i want to do with my life kind of thang (look at my great slag words) as i thought, if your nosey like me and want to know what people want to do with their lives then this might be interesting for you! i know i like these types of posts.

(getting to the emotional stuff now) i would love for all of these to happen but i dont know if they will because im so lazy! 🙂

maybe some of these will give you inspiration on what want to do with your life if you don’t already know!

1. ace all my exams. (geek shhh)

2.  go to a drama college and become an actress (p.s i havent told anyone expect my bestfriend that i want to do this because they will all laugh in my face or something so feel privileged) or if all that fails go into a job with child care.

3. go sky diving (im mad i know! :D)

4. go to the London Eye for New Years Eve

5. carry on blogging for as long as i can (because it is fun and you lot are fabulous!)

6. get to a weight that im comfortable with (is there anyone who is actually comfortable with their own figure?)

7. get married (im so soppy i know! ;D)

8. dye my hair a different colour (like red or blonde or something to make me different from others)

9. learn to cook ( my speciality is a fried egg sandwich, your welcome!)

10. do more things with make up and beauty ( atm i cant afford to buy the make up i want to try out!)

11. climb a mountain (my youngest memory of my dad is when he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and brought me back a animal necklace and bracelet, i still have them)

12. get over my fear of flying in planes

13.  meet an idol (matt smith please..aka my future husband)

14. this one is childish but to see how many places i can get thrown out of for playing ‘bogies’

15. get into reading. (i would love to start reading books but every time i start one i never finish it. next book to read is Bridget Jones’s Diary – Mad About The Boy)

16. keep a diary to look back on in later years

17. meet Graham Norton ( i love him)

18. go to a concert (thats right ive never been to a concert in my 15 years of life :D)

19. this is like the diary thing but write a letter or video and watch it back in 10 years time. in conclude questions to ask myself in the later years OR plant a time capsule.

20. Fall in love ( ok im sorry ill stop with the soppy with a bit of the notebook)

I hope this has given you inspiration on what you want to do with your life,  some of these things i know might not happen but i can dream (that is making me feel like a prime minster, YOU CAN DREAM. i picture that in american accent) if you have an idea of what you want to do with your life please comment telling me what they are because I’m nosey and id like to know what you what to do with your life!

Sherlock (SPOILERS if you haven’t seen episode 1 series 3)

hello my lovely’s!

okay i know this one isn’t beauty related and i haven’t blogged in over a month but i have been mega busy with mock exams and over boring stuff! but anyway enough of that! this blog posticles (well, ive never said that before! sounds almost wrong) is going to be a Sherlock series 3 episode 1 opinion blog thing. (or thang what ever takes your fancy) I am a huge Sherlock fan since a friend told me about it last year and ever since i have been so keen on it and i think that it is amazing! (if you don’t watch it then you defiantly should! you should watch it now, well not now, after you have read my post..obviously!..)

my thoughts on the episode while watching it consisted of “OH MY GOLLY GOSH” or “NO AWAY” or some dramatic gasps. (i tend to do that…GASP.)

this. this is my favourite part because SHERLOCK AND MOLLY OMG. (sorry my inter fan-girl seemed to get the better of me).

that song has no refrence to ths at all but its stuck in my head after i went to see The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. which is a great film you should see it. (im going of track aren’t i?)

to be honest i think it is the hair ruffle. im a sucker for hair ruffles.

other than my fangirling (again, sorry) what i also liked about the show was it kept you guessing. all the way down my twitter feed there was surprise, shock and laugher and that is how you felt all the way through.

because i am a big sissy and i cant take anything that is scary, during the detached train cartridge (or car for the clever ones amongst us. not really clever, they explained they are called cars in the show…) which had the bomb attached to it and Sherlock and John were inside of it waiting for the bomb to go off, i was sitting there like my good friend louis over here. you show them louis

you honestly didn’t know what was going to happen to them but after that tense situation, they got out and everything was explained (i won’t tell you how, you will have to watch and find it *evil laugh* thats right people.)

to end it all, i was completely over the moon with the show and i don’t think it could have been any better then it was. altogether if i had to rate it out of 10. it would be a strong 20.

Christmas Wishlist Already?!

hello my lovely’s!

its not to early for a Christmas wish list is it?

i thought it would be fun to share with you guys what i have on my Christmas wishlist! but, i know Christmas isn’t all about the gifts and to be honest i don’t need anything that is on this list as i have my family, i’m healthy and i’m happy but it’s always fun to wish! 🙂

#1 is a Christmas jumper. okay okay, so there not that great but they are so cute and i’ve never had one before and they are just the cutest things i have ever seen in my life. it makes you feel so Christmasy warm!

That Lift On A Cold Day – Candles!

CANDLES! you cant beat a good candle when it gets into the colder months! this is possibly my favorite time of the year because if you have had a stressful time at school or work or whatever you do you can pick out your favorite smelling candle  and sit in front of the telly watching coronation street with a nice cuppa. oooooh bliss.

I think i love candles so much because although they don’t give you heat, they make you feeling warm and cozy on the inside which is just the best feeling EVER! (emphasize on the ever)

although i love candles i can never find a good smelling candle that i will actually use. most years, while looking for a good candle, i have been disappointed with some of the candles that i have bought because the smell hasn’t turned out well, but this year Next has a fantastic supply of candles that i cant wait to try myself.

How I Do My Hair!

hello my lovely’s,

i like to think that i take care of my hair (i am a poet and i did know it thank you every much!) but i thought i would share with you how i do it. i get asked at school, and i quote ” how do you get your hair so soft?!” or “omg i totz want your hair innit” okay, so maybe not the second one but you know what i mean.

okay, let’s get going. READY…STEADY…BAKE. oh wait no wrong show…

so, i start of washing my hair in the shower with Vosene Shampoo.(as seen in the picture below) i really like this shampoo because not only is it just 99 penny’s! i repeat JUST 99p THAT IS A BARGIN! but it prevents dandruff and leaves your hair smelling like honey. i use this shampoo twice while in the shower and leave it on for 1 minute on each wash. i then wash it off with cool water(this is just a preference of mine as i think it makes my hair feel more soft)

is it only me who still can’t believe its only 99p?

 once i am out of the shower all sparkling clean, i brush out my hair carefully, starting with the ends of my hair so that i don’t pull any tangles and damage my hair, and then add three products to my hair. i use Boots essential extra firm hold mouse because my hair can be a pain in the backside! i use a good-sized circle of mousse on my hand and then run it though my hair. Then i spray about 4 squirts of Studio Silk and gloss spray. this makes my hair super duper soft when it has been straightened. it also holds your hair straight all day long.(BONUS) Then finally i use a tiny amount of MoroccanOil and only apply it to the ends of my hair. i find if i use too much then my hair becomes greasy and yucky really quickly.

as it is a school night, i just let my hair dry naturally so that the only heat i have on my hair is from my straighteners that i use in the morning. My straighteners are Remington Multistyler S6600 and was around £26. it is an amazing hair straightener and it also curls with different settings explaining the Mutistyler)
